HOW SUDOKU HELPS REDUCE STRESS





Stress  relief   has become  a very important   activity  in today's fast paced life.In this  society  most of the human beings  remain  engaged for accomplishment of work deadlines ,  for meeting  financial responsibilities  and to comply  with  family  commitments They  work  like  machines  and  they constantly answer or work  as  per digital  notifications.As a result  after  such a hectic schedule  people  get stressed  which results in health  related  issues.So in order to get relief of stress a healthy way of relaxation is essential to maintain emotional  and  mental balance .

One  of  the  most  healthy  way  to  reduce  stress  is Sudoku Logic  puzzle .Sudoku  is  just  not  a  game but  a  powerful  form  of  brain  training  that  helps  reduce  stress , improve  focus  , and  create  a  sense of calmness.


  But    the  question arise  that  why  Sudoku  is  considered an effective stress  releif  activity.

When  people  are stressed   they cannot concentrate  on  a  single  problem . Their  mind  jumps  from  one problem  to another resulting in failure to solve any problem quickly. But  Sudoku  is that game  which  focusses  the  brain  on  a  single  task.During  the  solution  of  the  puzzle  the  mind  diverts  from  work pressure , financial   concerns , fanily  worries  negative thought  to  finding  missing  numbers , identifying patterns and solving  logical  challenge.This  focussed  concentration  to  solve  the  puzzle  helps  the  mind  to  temporarily  disconnect  from stress  and  get  relaxed.

Let  me  provide  you  a  practical  example  which  supports that Sudoku relieves   stress  . Rajiv a 37 years old   IT professional   is always   engaged  in meeting , emails , deadlines , phonecalls  and  always  return  home  exhausted After  returning home  Rajiv  always  instead of relaxing  kept on thinking about his pending  work which  is to be completed the next day . As  a result  at home  also   he did not relax and his health deteiorated after some time. Then  he started  playing Sudoku instead of watching television or checking social accounts.While playing  he forgot  about  his pending work  and  he  started  thinking logically    about  the  missing  number and its position   in sudoku puzzle..For 20 minutes he  tried to solve the  puzzle  .During this time he stopped  worrying  about  deadlines .After completion of puzzle  he gained  a self  accompishment  feeling  which reduced  stress  and  cleared   his mind  from all anxiety's   of  office life.

Conclusion:

Thus  from  the above  example  it is clear that  Sudoku  improves concentration by reducing distractions ,encourages mindfulness, provides mental  relaxation , builts confidence  among players  which leads to success in daily life.It is an enjoyable form of brain exercise, stress management, and mental relaxation.Sudoku  provides  a  natural   and effective way   to reduce stress.
